     In the Great Gatsby they use a tone towards happiness. Like the narrator moving to another place and leaves his family business to do something else elsewhere maybe because he wasn’t happy there. Also how people thought Gatsby was this big thing because he was rich this and that but they don’t know how he really is as a person. All this rich people have it all but aren’t happy in life.      The narrator leaving his home and his family’s business shows that maybe he wasn’t happy there and left to find a better life in the U.S. It must of been a hard decision to leave because it’s a family business not just a normal job. But it came out the same he was chasing happiness and came across with miserable people around him. Maybe what he needs to do is find great people so he can find happiness.      A lot of people would say Gatsby was this rich guy had it all. No matter how hard you try you can’t make someone love you that’s what the story Gatsby is about.

1. I think he was a good person but he was a bad person to himself for keep trying to change the past. Like he was nice to everyone but he did everything to just impress one girl that didn’t work out in the past. 2. Nick is not honest with himself he just hangs around dishonest people so he can just feel good about himself. He seeks to be with them because he wants to fit in. 3. I do agree because they did a lot of harmful things and they just kept life going like nothing happened, they even set up Gatsbys death. 4. I think I understands daisys behavior like she knew she was getting cheated on but she stayed with him because he was the only one that was like her careless and just overall bad people. I would never let anyone that I know of date Daisy she is just to cruel she could literally kill someone and not feel bad about it. 5. That means he’ll recapture Gatsbys childhood dreams by getting on Gatsbys boat.

Even though everyone would always go to gatsbys parties and use his stuff and abuse his hospitality no seemed to care that he died.

Daisy knew gatsby was outside and let him outside waiting for 6 hours. She didn’t care at all that he was outside protecting her.

1. He stopped because he finally got daisy 2. He fires them because he doesn’t want rumors to spread. 3. Gatsbys reaction to daisy’s daughter was so sweet. 4. It all started with Tom telling Gatsby that he says old sport to much. 5. There’s a crash and Tom thinks it’s gatsbys fault 6. Tom is consulting daisy and doesn’t bother her that she killed someone.

Daisy and Gatsby both were embarrassed but when the narrator came back in Gatsby was happy and so was daisy with tears on her face. Gatsby shows his house to daisy. My question is why is it that made them both happy like what did they say to each other that Daisy had tears on her eyes.

Gatsby and daisy were a thing back in the day that’s why he disappeared when Tom got there. Tom cheated on daisy after they came back from their honeymoon.

Tom is a racist guy. All the rich people are sad inside even though they have all they money they just aren’t happy. Like they say “money doesn’t buy happiness.”

The big question that got me thinking was Gladys question because they really are more focused on girls for dress code and guys are shirtless on rally’s and girls can’t show their shoulders or else they make them put on a sweater or something.
